I was very interested in reviewing this product because of the very reasons, listed above. Also my grandchildren are reaching their teen years and beginning to show some problems with occasional acne. So, this product will be put to use by many of my family members as well.
Now, first I want to say, this comes to you in a box and then in a round container, much like your creams and lotions come in. It is compact and fits easily into your medicine cabinet. However, be careful when you first open this up as it is a semi-liquid and not really thick enough to prevent it from spilling out of the container. I almost spilled mine when I first opened it. But the lotion inside is very soothing and smooth. I didn't have a breakout, but my cousin did have a pimple during our review time. You just dip your finger into the product and apply it directly to the problem area. The cousin was complaining about the tenderness of the area and was wishing it away. So she applied some of the creme. She said it stung a bit when she first applied it, but it wasn't anything she couldn't bear. She woke up the next morning and the soreness was gone from the area and it seemed to have shrunk in size. She applied it once more the next day and upon rising the next morning it was healed to the point, no soreness, no swelling and no more need for treatment to that area. Now that my friends was impressive.
Being it does have a burn I would not recommend all over treatment, however it works wonderfully for spot treatment. I does say it is formulated to cause minimal skin irritation, but with it burning, I probably wouldn't do an all over treatment. The benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil and retinol is combined for fast response and healing.
I really do like this product, simply because I seen the results of the first and second nights treatments and the response time was awesome. I am certain that it will provide myself and my family with the same results it provided my cousin with. I've used alot of creams and this one is at the top of my list for acne. I have used brands such as Proactive and it performed just as well and may have responded to the soreness even quicker. This is much more affordable than the alternative.
